Spicy Sweet Chicken Wings

I kind of tamed these a bit - chipotle is a bit too hot for me, but if you like hot  - go for all chipotle! I also left out 1 tsp mustard powder - because I didn't have any and because I don't like mustard that much (which is why I probably didn't have any) ...

These were a nice blend of sweet and spicy - I was thinking about making some ranch dressing for dipping - but they really didn't need anything else

Note: Bake these on no stick aluminum foil - otherwise they will stick!

From Paleo Newbie

1 1/2 - 2 lbs chicken wings (pre-cut)
1/4 cup honey

Chipotle Seasoning mix

1 tbs chipotle powder (I used a mix of ancho chili powder, chipotle and plain old chili powder)
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika ( I used smoked)
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder

1. In a small bowl prepare the seasoning mix - just stir it all up

2. Place chicken wings on a no stick foil lined baking pan

3. Generously coat all sides of the wings with seasoning mix

4. Bake at 400F for 35 minutes

5. Baste chicken wings with honey

6. Bake an additional 10 minutes

7. Remove from oven and baste again with honey
